There’s some exciting news for those who would prefer to travel by air than ground from Tampa to Miami. You've got more direct options to get to Miami in just over one hour thanks to Delta Air Lines. The carrier recently announced new nonstop service to Miami, starting May 4. Sounds like a Cinco De Mayo trip is in order!
The expanded service is part of the carrier’s developing partnership with LATAM Airlines, which Delta announced last fall.
In addition to the Magic City, there will also be a new service between Orlando, Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, and Salt Lake City.
Delta has more than 30 departures a day from Tampa, and also recently announced a direct flight from Tampa to Seattle/Tacoma, which will start March 11.
There will be five non-stop flights offered between to and from Miami. Tickets are on sale now through Delta Air Lines.
