Starting October 31st, Norwegian Airlines will begin to offer bi-weekly flights between Tampa International Airport and London-Gatwick Airport for incredibly low prices. One-way economy fares start around $215, which is generally about $400 cheaper than British Airways – TIA’s other direct flight option to London.
As a result of Norwegian Airlines coming to Tampa International, tourism in the Bay Area is projected to grow immensely. Additionally, TIA officials hope that instead of driving to Orlando, locals will be more inclined to fly out of Tampa because of the new price options. The flights will be via Boeing 787's, providing plenty of seats as well as maximum comfort for passengers.

Assuming the TIA to LGW flights are as popular as expected, future Norwegian flight options from Tampa may expand to include other European destinations, like Paris, Barcelona, and Stockholm. But for now, Norwegian flights to and from Tampa and London will be every Wednesday and Saturday, beginning this fall.
