Al's Finger Licking Good BBQ

I have heard great things about Al's Finger Licking BBQ and have driven by it so many times. I regret that now as I wish I would have gone sooner. The service was extremely friendly, the restaurant atmosphere made it feel like a very southern restaurant and the location is great. Located in Ybor City but away from all the action on 7th Ave, Al's is easy to get to, has plenty of parking and is in walking distance from the bars and festivities. I went here for lunch and had a dinner platter which came with two sides. The BBQ beans were delicious with a little sweet flavor. The Pork BBQ was tender and had plenty of flavor. I recommend this place if you are looking for some good BBQ in Tampa.

Pros: The food and service were great.

Cons: No outside seating, at least not when I went.

Great locaction in Ybor City and they have their own parking lot so parking isn't an issue and it makes it convenient when on your lunch break. Definitely has a southern feeling and that is expressed in the cooking as well.

Pros: The food is amazing, slow cooked BBQ, southern homestyle sides, and it is not expensive at all!

Cons: Some sides are only available on certain days.
