Review for Centennial Park by Scott
Rating: 5 Rating
Centennial Park in Ybor City is so charming and a great place to just relax in the evening or attend one of the many events and markets that are held here. Next time you are in Ybor, take a strong through Centennial Park.
Pros: Some fun events are held here and it is a good escape from the bustling Ybor City 7th Ave. Great place to just relax too.
Cons: They need more events to utilize this great space. Parking in Ybor is tricky if you are not a local and know the spots.
Review for Water Works Park by Noah
Rating: 5 Rating
Great park located right outside of the city and is right next to Ulele and Armature Works. This park is often home to many festivals and events.
Pros: Great park Good place for events
Review for The Tampa Riverwalk by Scott
Rating: 5 Rating
I think the Tampa Riverwalk was one of the best additions to Downtown Tampa. I have seen over the years more and more people in Downtown and it's in part to making it a more walkable and park friendly urban district. Lots of events, parks to enjoy, delicious ..
Pros: They keep it clean and activate with events at the parks.
Cons: Parking in Downtown can be problematic at times so just plan ahead or leave some time for looking for parking.
Review for The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas Tampa by Tina
Rating: 5 Rating
I love this place! You can't beat the location for fun in the sun! The events on Sundays are so good I drive an hour to get there!! So worth it!
Pros: Super convenient to all of the awesome events on Sundays!! Great place to stay so no one has to drink and drive! And you can stay up all night and enjoy bottle service and a DJ that continues the party inside until 2am! I love it!
Cons: If you have to work on Monday...........boo........
Review for Hyde Park Village by Andrew
Rating: 5 Rating
Great little shopping/restaurant spot in Hyde Park. They host a ton of cool community events throughout the year like concerts and festivals that are usually free to attend.
Pros: Great location, nice variety of things to do, tons of community events.
Cons: Parking can be a little rough in Hyde Park
Review for ZooTampa at Lowry Park by Andrew
Rating: 5 Rating
Not a zoo expert by any means, but Lowry Park is pretty cool. Love the nighttime events like WaZoo and their holiday lights. Never too crowded, at least when I've been, and enough rotating exhibits to come back for repeat visits.
Pros: Big, well-maintained, ample parking, great fundraiser events.
Cons: Tickets can get a little pricey if you've got a big family, but they do a solid job of trying to make them worth it.
