"There's not really an afterparty. We finish the show and hang out in our dressing room backstage," he says. "It's not like it used to be where you were pouring liquor down [your throat]."
A consistent live draw on the country touring scene, Aldean, who has played venues from Boston's Fenway Park to Athens, Georgia's Sanford Stadium, says he'll be on the road as long as there's interest. "If I get to the point where I look out and I'm playing to mostly empty seats, I'll probably reevaluate. That's when I shut it down. But that's the great thing about country music. Your fans support you. When they find somebody they like, they support them through their career," he says.
