Second Annual Buzz Off Leukemia at Brass Tap Labor Day

It's our second annual Buzz off Leukemia event this Labor Day weekend! September is childhood cancer awareness month and we are fighting for the cause. Join us at 2pm for a beard cutting, silent auction and lots of fun giveaways. 10% of all food and beverage profits will be given back to James' fund!

James Davis is a little boy with Leukemia. Born on April 20, 2009, in Tampa Florida James parent's felt a lump on his neck got worried and took him to the doctor. He was treated for tonsillitis but the medicine he was given did not work. He had fever and his white blood cell count was high. Rushed to the children's emergency room at St. Josephs Children's Hospital due to abcessed tonsils. Do you have any idea how much it must have hurt for James to swallow!
It was in the hospital they learned James had Leukemia. T-Cell leukemia its pretty rare; mainly found in teenagers it's odd to find it in a little boy.

With a long fight ahead of them Brass Tap Ybor and the community at large have been helping with finances through GoFund Me and fundraisers like the Buzz-Off!
