The family-friendly event showcases the sabor (flavor) of Tampa Bay's Hispanic culture through food, music and art. Festival del Sabor features a recipe contest and cook-off to find Tampa Bay's best Arroz con Pollo, with cash prizes awarded.

The 2012 Festival del Sabor is taking place at Ybor's Centennial Park on Saturday, September 15 from noon until 5 p.m.
Head out to enjoy a full day of everything from Hispanic entertainment to cuisine, live entertainment, and more.
A number of activities will take place during the day including the "Senorita Hispanidad" Beauty Pageant, activities for the kids from MOSI, an amateur Arroz con Pollo recipe/cooking contest, music performances by local musicians Danny Lozada and Kike Barrioz, and a contest to select the Tampa Hispanic Heritage Cultural Ambassador.
