The Prep Cook primarily provides basic food and beverage preparation services to support the kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities (but are not limited to):
- Assembles and packages food and beverage products
- cutting, peeling, chopping, and slicing fruits and vegetables
- Carves and displays meats, vegetables, fruits, and salads
- replenishes service lines as necessary
- Maintains cleanliness of facilities
- Complies with standard food handling and sanitation procedures
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience working in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred
- General knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking practices
- Basic knife handling skills; Demonstrated customer service experience
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours while maintaining a fun and positive attitude
