Description
Discover just how special your day can be! As Temple Terrace's oldest surviving structure (circa 1910-1914), Woodmont Clubhouse has served many purposes. Originally built as Mrs. Bertha Palmer's outbuilding, it transformed in 1923 to Temple Terrace's first school house. Later, it became a warehouse and a recreation center. The clubhouse was saved in the 1950's and the 1970's from demolition by Mrs. Ruby McSweeney and Mrs. Margie Schine, respectively. In 1979, the GFWC Temple Terrace Woman's Club, the GFWC Temple Terrace Junior Woman's Club and the Temple Terrace Garden Club formed the Woodmont Clubhouse Association, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization. Since that time, this community center has been renovated to accommodate various events such as weddings, parties and meetings. Nestled in the heart of Temple Terrace, Woodmont Clubhouse offers a quiet and beautiful surrounding for your special day!
