Who Are the Elks?
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE), established in the USA in the 1800’s, is renowned for its charitable projects at both the national and community levels. With just under 1 million members in more than 2000 lodges across the country, the Elks are one of the largest and most active fraternal & charitable organizations in the world! The Elks are also one of the largest contributors of college scholarships in the nation, giving millions of dollars through their Elks National Foundation each year. Elks strongly support Americanism, celebrating and honoring our flag. National Flag Day was created as a result of Elks encouragement. The Tampa Elks is a great organization to become part of, where you can give back to your community, while having fun with many social activities with like members. Our Elk Charities help Youth At Risk, our Veterans, and the Less Fortunate.
