The first bottle of Old Forester was bottled in 1870 in Louisville, Kentucky. This world renowned spirit is considered the first bottled spirit. Five generations and nearly 150 years later, Old Forester watches over each and every drop produced in the family distillery as it did back in 1870. Old Forester is the oldest distillery to continually produce bourbon before, during and after the prohibition. America’s oldest bourbon has been dotted with awards and recognitions over the years including American Whisky of the Year at WhiskyFest New York and has been used as the official Kentucky Derby Drink.
