Want to learn how to paddle board, but not sure where to start? Join iTREKKERS at Picnic Island this Sunday for a beginner’s lesson right on the beach. Great for adults and kids, you’ll learn the basics of standing up and paddling from an experienced instructor. Seats are limited so book your lesson soon!
This is a 45 minute lesson that includes a 15 minute intro on the beach, followed by 30 minutes to test out your skills in shallow water accompanied by instructor. You’ll learn:
* Best practices and safety
* How to balance on the board
* How to hold the paddle
* Techniques for conserving energy
...and plenty of other beginner tips and tricks!
MULTIPLE LESSON TIMES AVAILABLE: 1PM, 2PM, & 3PM! Seats are limited so reserve your spot soon!
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Lesson costs $10 and will be limited to 4 people per time slot (1pm, 2pm, and 3pm) to ensure plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor. We'll take care of the paddle boards and life jackets, but remember to bring your bathing suit, sunscreen, and water! Have a child 6 or younger? They'll get to paddle with you for FREE.
WHERE TO MEET:
Meet us on the beach near Shelter #613. That's the first right after you pass the Picnic Island Disc Golf Course. Look for the iTREKKERS flag!
