Event Details
Lobo Marino (VA)- "Named after the enormous Pacific Sea Lion, Lobo Marino's brand of experimental folk draws from a rich palette of international and folk influences.
Built primarily on harmonium, bass drum, banjo and various unique instruments and voices, Lobo Marino continues to evolve as the musical response to the continuous travels and ongoing spiritual journey of its members, Laney Sullivan and Jameson Price.
They are also the founders of Earth Folk Collective and Fonticello Food Forest in Richmond,VA. Deeply dedicated to environmental and social causes, when traveling they carry in their music a message of humanity's need for reconnection with the earth. While at home, they spend time community organizing and running their donation based educational homestead Earth Folk Collective."

Mouth Council (STP)- "A Spontaneous Group Vocal Looping Experience/Performance Facilitated by Billy Mays III.
An interactive performance in which Billy gathers a circle of random participants together to create a space for free vocal expression.
A microphone is passed around as Billy loosely directs the experience, processing samples of all the raw voices into one cohesive mix.
He encourages the Council - strangers, musicians, friends - that they "can't do anything wrong" into the mic. So, each session is completely unique, an improvised electronic culmination of immediate collaboration."
