Pop singer/musician Michelle Branch will kick off the month-long Tampa Bay Acoustic Music Festival on Monday, June 1, with a 7:30 p.m. performance in Hard Rock Cafe Tampa.

Pop singer/musician Michelle Branch will kick off the month-long Tampa Bay Acoustic Music Festival on Monday, June 1, with a 7:30 p.m. performance in Hard Rock Cafe Tampa.
Tickets will be available via Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s Facebook page with a contest that will produce 300 winners (each receiving a pair of tickets).
An Arizona native, Branch released two top-selling albums in the early 2000’s – The Spirit Room and Hotel Paper – and she won a Grammy Award with Santana for the song The Game of Love.
Branch was also once a member of the country music duo “The Wreckers,” which she formed in 2005 with friend and fellow musician Jessica Harp. They produced the Grammy-nominated single Leave the Pieces.
“The Wreckers” disbanded in 2007 to pursue their respective solo careers and since then Branch released extended plays in 2010 and 2011.
Branch has also been involved with the television industry having played roles in such shows as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed and One Tree Hill. Additionally, she was a competitor on the show Hell’s Kitchen.
