The Lodge

I've been to The Lodge quite a few times over the years and one thing has never changed...the crowd just absolutely loves this place! No wonder it is one of SoHo's top bars.

Pros: Fun crowd and they usually run drink and shot specials. Very nice outside patio!

Cons: Parking can be difficult but that is for any business in SoHo.

The Lodge does a great job with having a restaurant with great food and then converting to a great nightlife atmosphere. Many places try to do this but The Lodge does it right. The prices here are great expecially for the location in the heart of Hyde Park.

Pros: Restaurant during the day with a good nightlife atmosphere. Food is great and they outdoor patio is a good option with the misters for hot days.

Great local bar with delicious food. Fridays are always packed with people but if you come any other time it's a little less crowded.

They just recently updated their Buffalo Mac recipe and it's SO GOOD. Always have a good time here with my friends.

Pros: The drink options are endless! Loved the frose when they had it.

Sunday nights at Lodge! If you have not gone, you have to. This restaurant transforms into a complete night club. There is great music from a live DJ and plenty of floor to dance on. If you can, I suggest getting a table. My friends got one and it made it easier to have alcohol. They refill the alcohol and chasers right at the table and there is no need to wait in line for a drink. If you do not get a table, the outside bar is a better place to get drinks because the line is smaller! (speaking of lines, the line to get in gets pretty long just to warn you). I have never been there during the day to try any of the food, but it is on my list!

Pros: Great atmosphere, music and crowd.

Cons: long line to get in on sunday nights and drinks are not the cheapest.

My friends and I are all 21 and 22 from Connecticut and when we tried to get in they rejected us because they thought our ID's were fake. Had to call the cops to get our ID's back and when we tried to call a manager to talk about our experience he/she hung up in the middle of the conversation.

Pros: Their waitresses can get the dick

Cons: The bouncers are low life's and don't like the waitresses aka gay as fuck and like dick up their ass
