Join iTREKKERS on Davis Island for instructional fishing experience on the shore with a licensed, professional fishing guide. This event is perfect for new anglers, families and kids!
Event Details
Fishing rods, tackle, and bait provided. For $10, get hands on with fishing equipment and learn proper handling and basic instruction like:
- Identifying local fish and bait species
- Rigging a fishing rod
- Casting a fishing rod
- Cleaning and filleting a fish
...and plenty of other beginner tips and techniques
You'll need a Saltwater Shoreline Fishing License to participate. This license is completely FREE for Florida residents and can be ordered at https://license.gooutdoorsflorida.com/. We're happy to help you order your license at the pier if you need help!
Meet at Seaplane Basin Park near Peter O. Knight airport. Park in the free public parking lot, then look for the iTREKKERS flag in the open field along the shoreline.
