JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for assisting in developing and executing the company’s traditional and digital-based advertising campaigns to promote awareness and build traffic.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for initiating, overseeing and receiving appropriate approvals for the company’s advertising campaigns to promote awareness of the property and increase traffic
- Assists with the management of media and development of media initiatives and goals and implementation of same
- Oversees development of all print, broadcast and digital media plans
- Assists with sponsorship contract planning, negotiating and processing
- Serves as the primary liaison to advertising agency and completes required paperwork in order to initiate creative and production
- Interfaces with all department heads to ensure timely development of creative materials for all campaigns and property promotions
- Assists the Director in the preparation of and monitoring annual budget, monthly budget justification and monthly/quarterly projections
- Responsible for developing, executing and analyzing marketing research programs
- Advises the Director of budgetary requirements, forecasts and operating effectiveness of advertising
- Oversees compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Must be able to work harmoniously with co-workers
- Must have an eye for detail
- Cultivates and maintains relationships with the media and community leaders
- Negotiates radio and television promotions in collaboration with outside media buying service
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures

Qualifications
- Five (5) years experience in a similar position and a BS or BA in Business, Advertising or Marketing required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to analyze marketing and promotions data
- Advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Design is required. Knowledge in PHP, ASP.NET, and SQL a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in SEO and SEM.
- Knowledge and experience in web analytical tools is required. Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics experience is preferred.
- Experience working in Content Management Systems (Sitecore and WordPress).
- Critical to this position is knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (Chrome, IE, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.), current web-design trends, techniques and standards, and the ability to research, recommend and apply new technologies as they emerge.
- Must possess a strong passion for creativity and attention to detail and have the ability to translate existing marketing materials to other media outlets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and organizational skills, sound decision making, and analytical capacity.
- Experience with Four Winds Interactive digital signage.
- Experience managing social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, blogs, etc. a plus
- Knowledge in graphic design utilizing Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is essential.
- Knowledge in video production and post-production, and editing in Adobe tools such as Premiere and After Effects is a plus.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Access required
- Experience in working along with and directing an advertising agency or staff required
- Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals
- Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance
- Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience
- Must have strong presentation skills
- Effective communication and time management skills, along with the ability to forecast time management needs of others is required
- Must be able to speak to the general public and/or groups of individuals
Work Environment:
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to work standing for long periods of time in a noisy environment
- Must be able to continuously maneuver around the office and property, often standing for long hours
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Native American Preference Policy:
The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
