Responsibilities
This position is responsible for ensuring accurate record keeping and preparing, reviews and analyzing reports.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Creates menus and directs staff in the preparation of menu items
- Responsible for scheduling, planning, timing and supervision of all details for Billboard Cafe
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- One (1) to two (2) years of restaurant/cafeteria/food service supervisory experience or a combination of education and/or work experience
- Heavy batch cooking background required
- Strong Knowledge of food handling
- Must have previous experience Creating Menu's and executing those menus
- Must be able to interface effectively with other management staff to deliver a positive guest service experience
- Must be able to work a varied work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays due to this outlet working a 24/7 operation
- Must have the ability to lead and interact with, a team of individuals with diverse personalities
- Must have good written and oral communication skills
- Must have good computer skills to include Microsoft Word/Excel
Work Environment:
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the restaurant and back of house of the casino, which can be fast-paced with excessive noise. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
