WHAT TO EXPECT
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND YOUR GAMING COMMISSION APPOINTMENT AND A BRIEF ORIENTATION ON JUNE 9TH, THE DAY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT
- A MEMBER OF RECRUITMENT WILL REACH OUT TO SCHEDULE YOUR GAMING APPOINTMENT -
POKER FLOOR SUPERVISORS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL OF THE TOURNAMENT DAYS
-YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR SCHEDULE FROM THE POKER HIRING MANAGER ONCE YOU COMPLETE ON-BOARDING-
POKER FLOOR SUPERVISORS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN LODGING FOR THE DURATION OF THE TOURNAMENT
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
RESOLVES CUSTOMER DISPUTES AS APPROPRIATE
SUPERVISES ASSIGNED POKER TOURNAMENT STAFF
PROMOTES POSITIVE PUBLIC/EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AT ALL TIME
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Previous Poker Tournament supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of TDA (Tournament Directors Association) rules and regulations required
- Must be able to successfully clear Seminole Tribe of Florida Gaming Licensing procedures
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures
- Must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public
- Must be able to compute hand totals quickly and accurately
- Must be able to deal the game in a graceful, stylish, and fluid manner
- Must have ability to use good judgment in intense situations
- Ability to work in a smoke-filled environment
- Must be able to promote an outgoing, friendly customer oriented personality at all times
- Must have Exceptional guest service skills
Work Environment:
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Employment Process:
Seminole Gaming’s employment process requires candidates to obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to beginning employment. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:
