Responsibilities
The Nail Technician is responsible for providing non acrylic nail services.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provides basic treatments, such as manicures and pedicures
- Delivers outstanding Guest service while providing high quality nail services in accordance with established company procedures
- Embodies and drives the company's mission statement
- Other assignments as directed
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Cosmetology or Nail Technician license issued by the state of Florida
- Minimum of 2 -year experience in a luxury spa setting is required
- Must have strong coping and communication skills capable of professional decision making and effective problem solving while attending to our guests and fellow employees
- Ability to respond to guests needs while always maintaining a professional scope of practice
- A positive and energetic personality with a desire to succeed in the spa industry
- Must possess exceptional guest service skills
- Must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures
Work Environment:
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the Spa Salon near the Casino Floor which is a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.
- This position requires the employee to stand for prolonged periods of time as well as frequent walking, sometimes stooping, bending and lifting up to a maximum of 30 lbs.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
