This is a Tampa jewel! Dining, shopping and exploring all along the Tampa Riverwalk.
I think the Tampa Riverwalk was one of the best additions to Downtown Tampa. I have seen over the years more and more people in Downtown and it's in part to making it a more walkable and park friendly urban district. Lots of events, parks to enjoy, delicious restaurants along the way and easy to access from multiple parts of the city.
Pros: They keep it clean and activate with events at the parks.
Cons: Parking in Downtown can be problematic at times so just plan ahead or leave some time for looking for parking.
I have been going here for as long as Riverwalk has been active and it is one of my favorite places downtown whether I am reading a book in the park, laying in my hammock or riding my longboard down the sidewalk. Always busy, always something to do and always makes for a nice day!
Pros: Nearby food stops, shops and University of Tampa.
