Description
The festival of Gemütlichkeit returns for its 11th Annual Oktoberfest Tampa event. For 3 full days, Tampa’s downtown Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park a will be transformed into the city’s largest, waterfront biergarten.
Event Details
Soak in the sprawling downtown views and beautiful sunsets, as the park buzzes with live music, dancing, dirndls and lederhosen, and the bratwurst and schnitzel your heart desires!
A full authentic Bavarian food hall will be available, as well as a variety of Oktoberfest style beers are offered around the festival grounds. Options range from a traditional Pils, multiple Oktoberfest märzens options, ciders, red/white wines, and a few non-alcoholic choices will be available. A special feature of our event is that we do offer daily, craft beer firkin tappings to celebrate the occasion with our local breweries.
Social-distancing and special sanitization schedules will be in place.
Festival goers are encouraged to participate in the wide range of custom-crafted, Outrageous Bavarian Games, that foster fun challenges to win cool prizes and more importantly, the bragging rights. Oktoberfest Games are FREE to play. Challenges include: Stein Hoisting, Keg stacking, Tug-O-War, Brat Toss, Carry the Wench and much, much more.
Every year, entrance to the event is free for men and women of the Armed Forces (active or retired) and any first responders of the City of Tampa (TPD, TFR, EMS) for you and your spouse. Simply show your proper ID at the entry gate.
This event proudly supports Are You Safe, a local Tampa non-profit organization that advocates and assists domestic violence victims through empowerment and education. http://R-U-Safe.org
