The master of al fresco screenings Rooftop Cinema Club, known for its sky-high outdoor cinema experience throughout the U.S., adapted its popular approach during the COVID-19 pandemic to create a truly contactless drive-in theater experience and is now set to unveil its first in Tampa. With skyline views of downtown and the Hillsborough River, Rooftop Cinema Club is kicking off opening night in style with drive-in classic Grease on October 15. “The Drive-In at Armature Works”, located at 420 W. Oak Ave., will be the company’s fifth drive-in theater to open in the U.S. in 2020 and the very first venue in Florida.
