Get ready for the glitziest party of the year! Save the date for a fantastic evening worthy of Jay Gatsby himself. On November 11, 2017, Fletcher Lounge at The University of Tampa will be transformed into a 1920s speakeasy for The Great Gatsby Party.
Event Details
This fabulous evening includes live music, games of chance, fabulous food, an open bar and a photo opportunity with a vintage 1929 Bentley. Put on your best 1920's clothing and enjoy the party flapper-style. The Great Gatsby Party will be held from 7:30 pm – 11:30 pm. Proceeds will support the conservation and preservation of the Museum collection, as well as community programs.
This legendary party will rival Jay Gatsby’s parties in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel. Instead of a Long Island home, this unique evening will take place in the fashionable Tampa Bay Hotel dining room. The roaring twenties will come to life as you whisper the password and sneak though gangsters to enter the party. Ward Cook and the Blue Notes will set the tone for dancing and entertainment. Fortune tellers will be on hand and Black Jack and Roulette will be offered for those who feel lucky. 1920’s Menus from the Tampa Bay Hotel have been used to create food for even the most gourmet palette.
