Cast and Reel Saltwater Premiere Fundraiser for Film Tampa Bay

The event is designed to be the Bay area’s most exclusive and fun fishing tournament and generate monies for the Tampa Hillsborough Film and Digital Media Commission through vessel sales, corporate sponsorships, and merchandising. The proceeds for this event will go toward the operating budget of Film Tampa Bay. It is our goal to generate a pool of discretionary funds outside of local funding provided by Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa. These funds will be used for projects and initiatives including but not limited to: Student scholarships, artistic and merit based grants for local filmmakers, workforce development, and the creation of a separate fund to incentivize smaller productions that do not meet current incentive criteria.
