2012 Republican National Convention

If there's one big event that's putting Tampa on the map this year, it's the 2012 Republican National Convention at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Beginning August 27 and lasting through August 30, this national event will host the Republican Party as their delegates choose their picks for the Republican Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidate for the 2012 Election.

There will be a handful of RNC events open to the public throughout the week of the convention.
