The Director of Construction and Facilities works together with the executive leadership team to help deliver on 23 Restaurant Services mission statement by managing the design and construction of new restaurants and maintenance of existing locations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for overall building design and development of new restaurants, remodels and refreshes for all 23 Restaurant Services concepts
Review plans, code compliance, budgets, brand standards, project progression of new and existing locations
Report to executive team on a regular basis on progress and budget of all projects and compliance
Assist executive team with site selection, land acquisition, lease negotiations
Maintain existing restaurant location facilities to brand standards
Budget negotiation and bid evaluation for new and existing projects
Review maintenance contracts for existing locations on a regular basis
Develop and plan facility designs for the changing landscape of the restaurant business
Maintain vendor relationships and conduct vendor business reviews regularly
Develop preventative maintenance materials for restaurant managers and directors and conduct training with the operations team to ensure long term success of each location
Maintain the Restaurant Support Center facilities
High proficiency in Microsoft Office
Extensive project management experience
Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5+ years of experience in multi-location restaurant construction management, facilities maintenance, and restaurant design
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
Ability to comprehend construction and architectural documents and drawings
