The Aquarium parking lot is adjacent to the Aquarium and is located at the corner of Channelside Drive and York Street. Parking is $10.

Open daily 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day

Guests are not permitted to bring food into the Florida Aquarium for individual consumption, except food needed for medical purposes, food allergies, or for infants, water in bottles (one per guest). Exceptions must be pre-arranged by contacting guest services at 813.273.4000. Weddings, corporate events and other social events that rent spaces are allowed to bring in cakes. Children’s birthday party packages reserved through the Education Department include a cake with the party package, for exceptions please contact Education Reservations at (813) 273-4015.

Less than 14 years of age must be attended to by an adult parent or guardian at all times in no less than a 10:1 ratio. The water play area requires adult supervision of all children/minors at all times.

Upon admission into our facility, you hereby grant The Florida Aquarium permission to use your likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media (“photo”) without payment or other consideration and authorize The Florida Aquarium to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purposes.

General admission tickets will continue to be available for purchase online and at The Florida Aquarium ticket office. To purchase tickets online: Visit https://www.flaquarium.org/ Click the Tickets icon Review the calendar and select a date that works with your budget and schedule Enter ticket quantities and click Add to Cart to complete purchase

If you need to exchange your ticket, please call guest services at (813) 273-4201. Beginning July 16, 2018, guests will be required to pay the difference in price depending on the date of visit.

The Florida Aquarium is amazing! Located right by Sparkman's Wharf with a paring garage close by, it is a great location. They also have so many different exhibits to enjoy!

The Florida Aquarium is my favorite aquarium that I have ever been to! I love the otters, alligators and lemurs! But overall just a great place to take a date or your family! FUN FOR ALL!

The Florida Aquarium is a pretty neat place. I spent more time there when I was younger, nowadays I tend to visit for events such as the Sea Grapes Fine Wine and Food Festival, which was a spectacular fundraising event and a ton of fun with unlimited wine pours and tastings from many of Tampa's best restaurants. The family regularly hits up the kids playground as well and the bar nearby - not bad if you're in Channelside with the kids and want to give them some play time. Parking is painless with their spacious parking lot as well. Great.

Pros: Cool events and plenty of neat displays

Cons: Price per admission can be expensive - might be better to just buy a pass if you're a regular

The Florida Aquarium is one of the must see attractions when visiting Tampa. It is also a great place for locals because they host so many events throughout the year. Not only should you check out the Florida Aquarium for its aquatic life exhibits but for their annual wine festival, beer fest and so much more.

Pros: There is so much to do around this area with the Channelside Complex being right next door. Great for the kids & the adults.

THEY HAVE THEIR OWN PARKING LOT AND A NICE PAVED WALK WAY STRAIGHT TO THE FRONT OF THE AQAURIUM

Pros: VERY NICE & CLEAN. THEY HAVE OUTSIDE PLAY AREA FOR KIDS WITH WATERSLIDES AND WATER FOUNTAINS. THEY ALSO HAVE A NICE BIG PATIO OUTSIDE WHICH I LIKE CUZ YOU CAN SEE THE CRUISE SHIPS COME & GO. I LIKE HOW YOU CAN TOUCH THE STING RAYS, STAR FISH, ETC. THE BEST THING I LIKED ABOUT IT WAS THE OUTDOOR AREA BECAUSE YOU WERE SO CLOSE TO THE FISH AND BIRDS WE COULD TOUCH THEM.

Cons: THE SMELL OF THE STING RAYS.
