Snow Days | A Safe Way To Play at The Florida Aquarium

The Florida Aquarium is safely bringing back one of Tampa Bay’s most popular Holiday traditions…Snow Days, with new ways to play! While we may not be able to trudge around in the snow this year, we have brought two new ways to safely play in the white stuff. First, get hands on and help us battle the Sea Monsters plaguing our oceans in a good old-fashioned snowball fight. Receive three genuine snowballs to toss at the sea monsters and help us defeat ocean pollution. Next, grab a bucket of real snow and build your own snow creation. Snap a picture quick before it melts away! Get those happy feet going as you join in on our socially-distanced, outdoor Snowfall Dance Party where you can enjoy the “snow” falling while rocking to Holiday classics.
Enjoy the Giving Trees – uniquely designed Holiday trees celebrating some of the community partners who have served Tampa Bay so well this year. Take in the amazing art featured in our gallery of upcycled wreaths created by students from around the region. Make sure to cast your vote as the winning class will win a virtual field trip and other great interactive prizes from the Aquarium. And lastly, don’t miss out on your chance to safely capture a unique Holiday photo or animal encounter while you stroll through our exhibits enjoying over 9,000 animals.
