ATTENTION: The annual Light Up Tampa Bay event has MOVED locations for NYE 2018 in Channelside. The fireworks show and viewing area will be at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park.

Event Details

The Channelside fireworks show will begin at midnight and is expected to be the largest fireworks display in Tampa Bay. There is no cost to the public to view the fireworks show at Cotanchobee Park.

The park will be open for up to 4,000 people. There will not be any vendors, so no food or drink is available onsite. It is a Non-Alcohol event and great for famillies looking to ring in the new year with the annual New Year's Eve fireworks.

Channelside Bay Plaza is undergoing construction and therefore, the fireworks show has been moved to the nearby Cotanchobee Park.

The event has moved locations this year. It will be located at Cotanchobee Park and limited to up to 4,000 people. I don't think they are doing wristbands for this event.
