The event will be held in the heart of Downtown Tampa The 3.1 mile race benefits Extra Yard for Teachers, the College Football Playoff Foundation's primary initiative that goes the "extra yard” by honoring and empowering teachers.

The 2017 Extra Yard 5K includes live entertainment, activities with race sponsors and a post-race ceremony!
Early registration is $25. Prices increase November 2nd. Registration for the 1-Mile Family Fun Run is just $15 through race day.
Registration includes one ticket to Playoff Fan Central, a participant shirt (for the first 1,000 registrants), a finisher’s medal, a chipped race bib and one entry into a drawing to win two tickets to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
