An old fashioned outdoor Easter egg hunt at the Tampa Bay History Center. Children can hunt for eggs with special treats in beautiful Cotanchobee park. Characters from Tampa's past and the Easter Bunny will be present.

An old fashioned outdoor Easter egg hunt at the Tampa Bay History Center. Children can hunt for eggs with special treats in beautiful Cotanchobee park. Characters from Tampa’s past and the Easter Bunny will be present.
Enjoy Victorian games and crafts, a special scavenger hunt, and food from the waterfront Columbia Café.
COST: $13/adult, $10/ child: FREE for adult History Center members, however ticket purchase will be required for children and grandchildren. Ages 0-12 months FREE.
*Fee includes TBHC admission for the day.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
A visit by the Easter Bunny, bring your cameras! (12:45-1:45)
Interaction with characters from Florida’s past
Victorian and Florida-centric Easter Crafts and Games
Scavenger Hunt through the our hands-on museum galleries
The Hunt! (Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets to collect biodegradable and BPA-free eggs)
2:00 p.m. Easter Egg Hunt for children age 4 and under in Cotanchobee park (just outside our front doors)
Prize for finding the golden egg awarded after the hunt.
2:15 p.m. Easter Egg hunt for children age 5 and over in Cotanchobee park
(adults are not allowed on the lawn during the hunt)Prize for finding the golden egg awarded after the hunt.
Easter Egg Roll
The Gilded Age game of egg rolling began on the South Lawn of the White House when President Rutherford B. Hayes welcomed children to the first White House Easter Egg Roll in 1878. Special prizes will be awarded to the winners. Wooden spoons will be provided.
2:30 p.m. Easter Egg Roll in Cotanchobee park for children age 4 and under.
2:40 p.m. Easter Egg Roll in Cotanchobee Park for children age 5-7.
2:50 p.m. Easter Egg Roll in Cotanchobee Park for children age 8 and over.
