Jim Chambers is the most qualified to guide the next generation of players and performers in Tampa.

Infamously proclaimed "the world's finest music academy" when it was launched in 2013 THE BOX is a full service music instruction and learning academy which offers instruction on all instruments including voice, piano, guitar, bass, drums , band formation and live performance.

Chambers instruction, leadership and artist development expertise has lead to the formation of 5 album producing bands, 6 performing ensembles, who combined have performed over 150 live concerts. A Long Way From Kansas, Extra Celestial, Heroes For Hire, Sick Hot , Inkblot, are among several that have launched out of The Box. The groups have performed on local TV, MLB & NFL sporting events, Gasparilla Music Festival, various benefits and more. In addition to his responsibilities as founder of JCMB, Chambers manages four groups from the academy: Sick Hot, Favorite Habit, Heroes For Hire, The Raine.

Jim Chambers efforts in the Tampa Bay Music scene were recently acknowledged by Tampa Bay's Creative Loafing Critics annointing Chamber's Music Box -- "Musician Incubator Of the Year--Critics Pick." He’s just getting warmed up.
