The huge grass lots on the north and south end of this 66,000 capacity stadium are perfect for comfortable tailgate partying with hundreds of your closest Tampa Bay Buc friends before the game. Gates for these spaces open three and a half hours before kickoff, so while you’re eager to party, don’t get there too early or you’ll be sitting in the car till the gates open.
Where To TailGate?
The actual stadium gates, the ones that get you in the game, open an hour and a half before kickoff. Parking for Bucs games is $25 per vehicle. If you're not a fan of that price (and, really, who is?), bring a couple friends and split the cost to avoid dropping the cost of two decent 18-packs on a parking spot. Another option for Bucs parking is the "mall parking lot"; the paved parking lot next to One Buc Place where the old Tampa Mall used to be. Parking is also available across Dale Mabry Highway at the Hillsborough Community College Campus. Many of the houses in the neighborhood on the other side of Himes Avenue offer parking in their yards for Bucs games. These places are good alternatives and are relatively the same price but may not offer the same tailgate experience.
