Who doesn't love chocolate? In Tampa we have a number of chocolate festivals throughout the year, many coming next year in January. November 29th is National Chocolates Day. Here are four great local Tampa chocolatiers to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Schakolad Chocolate Factory - Often found at food festivals, the white chocolate pretzel comes highly recommended. They can make pretty much anything out of chocolate and are open to requests, which makes for creative and edible gifts. Another cool thing about this spot is their chocolate parties - which can be a creative way to celebrate a birthday or get together.
The Original Leena's Chocolates - This Brandon chocolatier has welcoming owners and absolutely delicious chocolate and coffee. Chocolate parties are also a highlight of this venue, during my first visit I saw plenty of kids hanging out there after school. Crepe's will soon be on the menu and I cannot wait to try them!
Qachbal's Chocolatier - Although they have expanded around town, my favorite location for this business has always been their Channelside shop. Always fun to stop by for a chocolate frozen banana or a rich hot chocolate.
Toffee To Go - Toffee To Go is often present at events around town, the last time I had a bite of their delicious chocolate was at Datz and it was as superb as always. They always nail the perfect balance between sweet and savory. They can handle a number of event requests in addition to corporate gifts.
