When it comes to shopping and dining in the Brandon area, the Westfield Brandon Shopping Mall is a great place to go if you're looking for a huge assortment of shops, restaurants, and more all in one easy, convenient location.
Following a multi-million dollar expansion back in 2007 that added stores like Dick's Sporting Goods and the Apple Store, and restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen to the Westfield Brandon lineup, the mall is now at it again with a handful of new and soon-to-be new retail outlets and restaurants.
Gourmet burger restaurant and bar Red Robin is gearing up to take over the location that housed the now-defunct Ruby Tuesday's inside the mall. Construction is currently taking place and the new restaurant is set to open sometime during the fall. Another establishment, the Caribbean-inspired restaurant chain Bahama Breeze will also open at Westfield Brandon in the fall. Bahama Breeze will take over the empty spaced that used to house the Sinigual Mexican Restaurant.
But, you don't have to wait that long to try some new eats or explore some new stores at the mall. This summer, legendary barbecue restaurant Perry's BBQ will open inside the Westfield Brandon food court while young adult clothing store Rue21 will open across the mall in space that now houses Venice mini Med Spa. Both are set to open in July.
Sound cool? Head out, beat the heat, and give the Westfield Brandon Mall a chance with new options this summer.
