It's an Italian restaurant but my favorite is the black skillet-roasted mussels. Delish! Always good entrees and solid service. When the weather is nice, a perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy the Hyde Park view.

Went to Timpano's for lunch over the weekend. Lunch prices weren't unreasonable, and I ordered the trio. The caesar salad was tasty and the chicken breast very well seasoned and juicy. The pesto-parmesan potatoes were lukewarm and very bland though. My fiancees fries were great though, and there were more than she wanted, so we still both left full and happy.

I really enjoyed Timpanos. We had to wait a very long time for a table because they were so crowded but they had an awesome jazz group performing so it did not make it so bad. Great atmosphere, I will definitely be returning. We ordered mostly appetizers and I really enjoyed all of them! Overall a great experience.

This is easily a 4 star restaurant!! The atmosphere is very upscale, the food is amazing, the staff is polite, and one of my favorite things is the live music sets the right ambiance! Whether you are looking to go on a date or hang out with friends, this is the place to be in Hyde Park. They just got a new wine list and the bartenders know how to make a lot of drinks so the selection is endless. The Tuesday Ladies night is always a good time!
