My aunt hosted her wedding reception in Grille 54's party room and it was a good time. I appreciated the food variety because my family can be a bit picky. Their cocktail variety is also worth trying, as the PB&J martini tasted almost like dessert. Although it did take a bit of time for the hostess to seat us, we had a pretty big party so I didn't think much of it.

I am extremely disappointed with Grill 54. We had reservations for Christmas day at 7:30pm. We received several reservation confirmations including one that afternoon. At 7pm as we were walking out the door I received a 'courtesy' call from the hostess letting us know that they were cancelling our reservation. Apparently 3 people decided not to show up to work in the kitchen and that they would be closing early. Not only was it 30 min before our reservation and Christmas Day but it was also my Birthday!! I told her that I wanted to speak with the manager. When Dallas the manager/owner got on the phone he told us a slightly different story and said we could come in but we would have to wait at least 2 hours to eat (so apparently they were not closing early). I let him know that I was 35 weeks pregnant and waiting over 2 hours to eat was unacceptable, especially since we had a reservation. I asked him if there was anything he could do to make the situation better and he had nothing to offer. Grill 54 seems to have extremely poor management and lack of care for their customers. The bartender took our drink order( Mr. Delicious as he call himself) and never came back. I had to flag down the other girl that was working, she apologized and took our order. The food was excellent. There was a woman that was sitting next to us that was a little bit too tipsy and kept on trying to talk to us as we ate. There was an advertised special that no one knew about and all the manager said was sorry, the main reason why I went was because of the special. Needless to say I wasn't happy. THE food made it a tolerable experience. Other than that I wouldn't go back unless it was Happy Hour. A little pricey

We had a great time, the service was tremendous from the time you walk in the door till you leave. If you park valet hand your ticket to your server and your car will be waiting at the front door for you.

Pros: There is a nice variety of food on this menu. I told my girlfriend if you can't find anything to eat here you just don't like food!

Cons: Parking is terrible. They share a lot with a mellow mushroom, but good news on that, they do offer free valet.

Sundays are great with hospitality industry and you get 50% off if you are in the industry. Wish they had a location closer to downtown Tampa.

Pros: Great atmosphere and drink selection. They have themed parties that are fun. The sushi was good but I would recommend the steaks.

Worth the drive if you do not live close. They have a wide menu selection so I recommend going there a few times to experience as much as you can.

Pros: The sushi is absolutely one of the best in the Bay area. The staff is always friendly and the drinks hit the spot.

Cons: There is not a location closer to me!
