Taco Bus | Tampa Ratings & Reviews
Taco Bus is hands down one of my favorite places to eat. It's cheap, open late on weekends which is perfect for those who have drunchies at 3am, and their burritos are huge!!! Full of flavorful ingredients and always made to perfection. Taco Bus never fails.
The Taco Bus is part of the magic of Tampa Bay. It has grown to become a big part of multiple neighborhoods, but many people still find themselves preferring the original location in Seminole Heights. Indeed, the original has that hole-in-the-wall feeling like you took a trip out to Mexico and the same familiar faces I have grown accustomed to over the years. The best part about the Taco Bus has always been convenience, 24 hours of service to satisfy your Mexican cravings even after Taco Bell calls it quits. The owner provides himself on quality food and the Taco Bush has found much national loves thanks to food and travel channels on television. I like their tacos de carne asada with some fresh lime on top, their quesadilla is nice and toasty, and their burritos are guaranteed to fill you up. Overall, it is no surprise Taco Bus is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Tampa Bay.
Pros: 24 hour convenience, tasty Mexican food
Cons: Crowds can sometimes be brutal
Pros: ITS OPEN 24/7 they also bring you your food in a timely maner
I rated them a 10 for restaurant atmosphere because it is their own unique atmosphere they create. It is a one of a kind experience to eat at Taco Bus. I suggest trying a few different items from the menu. They have multiple locations now including one in Downtown Tampa.
Pros: The food at Taco Bus is amazing! The service was very friendly and quick.
Cons: The original location is not in the best area of Tampa.
Taco Bus food is amazing so make sure to try different items each time you go because it's all good. If you are ordering take out, make sure to call ahead to save time.
Pros: Great food, interesting atmosphere with the converted school bus, location is convenient, open 24/7 :)
Cons: Depending on the time you go there, sometimes you will have a long wait.
Pros: It's TACO BUS... what's not to like
Pros: Great, authentic Mexican on the cheap. Perfect for soaking up a belly full of booze after a long night at the bar.
Cons: All outdoor seating. Can get a little hot and steamy in the summer months.
Featured on the Food Network by Guy Fieri! Order from the actual bus or head into the physical restaurant right next door.
Pros: Best Horchatas ever! The Burritos are huge!
Cons: Long waits so don't be shy, head to the window when you're ready... don't wait for them to see you.
