Hyde Park Village Ratings & Reviews
Hyde Park Village is the cutest area of Tampa! I absolutely love how quaint it is and a lot of the shops are local one-of-a-kind places that are great for gift giving!
The Hyde Park Village is well known for hosting events such as their holiday events, live music and art festivals. It is a nice little area tucked away in Hyde Park and they have a parking garage.
Pros: The outdoor shopping experience represents Tampa well.
Cons: There could be more restaurants and shops.
Great place to visit while in Tampa!
Lovely area with plenty of great places to shop. The art fairs are always worth a visit and you can find a lot of interesting things.
This upscale village is a perfect mix of shops and restaurants. It's very quaint and charming. You'll find several major retailers and a few local shops like Florist Fire that do a really good job of presentation and good quality goods.
Pros: You can eat outside at Timpano's and enjoy the sights!
Cons: Parking! There are a couple parking garages but if you're coming to an event, plan ahead. Limited street parking and restrictions on neighborhood parking.
Always a treat - I love the FLING events and the Fresh Markets on the last Sunday of every month! Oh, and the cronuts at Piquant!!!
Pros: Neighboorhood local with free parking
Cons: I still miss Jacobsen's :-( So sad they went out of business! I have great memories of times spent at HPV with my mom shopping and dining there :-)
Great little shopping/restaurant spot in Hyde Park. They host a ton of cool community events throughout the year like concerts and festivals that are usually free to attend.
Pros: Great location, nice variety of things to do, tons of community events.
Cons: Parking can be a little rough in Hyde Park
