Easily one of the best Irish bars in Tampa, if not the best bar in Tampa. Macdinton's is the best place to be on Friday night and a big college bar. Happy hour makes Macdinton's worth it and I will always try my best to make it there on time.

MacDinton's is my weekend spot! For UT students and young professionals alike it's a place to forget the stress of a long week! Thursday night- Dollar Beers. Friday Night- 4 Hour AYCD happy hour. It's THE BAR to check out when you come to Tampa!

One of the most popular nightlife locations in South Tampa. MacDinton's is a long time favorite of mine, but don't go out expecting a quiet evening. It's a local hot spot and is always packed.

Wednesday NIghts and Friday Evening is where MacDinton's the most packed with people socializing! Love the atmosphere!

Pros: In walking distance from other bars and food spots. Cheap pricing. Good area. Great social crowd.

Cons: Busy streets and not a lot of parking but affordable lots are close by and everything is very accessible.

Happy Hour every Friday is the best time ever!

Fun, young crowd. Thursdays are huge for $1 beer night & karaoke. Friday happy hour gets pretty hectic.

Great food and an Irish twist on some of not so traditional Irish fare. Love the Irish chicken curry dish.

Had a terrible bar woman. As she didn't understand how to process my card became aggressive and then oroceeceeded to show her body behind the bar whilst shouting expletives. One of the regulars stated that she is probably on drugs. After not fully understanding how to process a card she then threw it at me saying we don't care about your money. The management were better and after I asked they proceed my card in seconds.

Pros: Management seem good and good atmosphere.

Cons: You need to fire your bar staff who abuse substances.

Me and some friends went here to have a girls night out. Everything and everyone was good. We were all dancing and drinking enjoying our selves, one of my friends decided to go to the Dj and request a song, before she could even say anything the dj told her to leave, which she did. About 10 minutes later 2 other friends of mine went to the dj to request a song he became even more rude and started cursing and asking them to get away. No one was being rude but him. I then decided to go up to him to let him know he didn't have to be rude, he could have simply said no or I'm not taking requests. When I did that he flicked me off and told me to "fucking leave" I got mad and started telling him off!!! I've never experienced that situation there or any other place EVER!!!!! Extremely disappointed!!! As long as that dj is there we will never go back and we will definitely let others know about the rudeness and unprofessional of that dj!!!!!

Be careful. Jan 16, 2016, my daughter had her cell pulled from her pocket and her friend had her debit card taken from her pocket. The crowds are so large that pick pocketing is easy to do.

I have been here several times for the nightlife. They always have entertainment and they are always packed. They have 4 or 5 bars though so you have a lot of rooms to choose from. You can also be outside, which is nice. IT is very close to all of the other bars in South Tampa so it has a great location. They do have specials during the week, but weekend drink prices can get expensive. Great place to go with friends. I have never had a bad time. NO COVER! Parking can be a pain sometimes if there aren't any valet spots. I would get there early!
