One of the most anticipated Tampa Bay area restaurant openings of 2018 Rocco's Tacos brings authentic Mexican and fun to Tampa with a big ole!! On Sunday, February 11th, restaurant founder Rocco Mangel will be in Tampa for a grand opening party before the restaurant opens for full service on February 12th in Tampa's Westshore District.
The Mexican restaurant will be part of the International Plaza and Bay Street complex and kicks off with a public grand opening fiesta at 7 p.m. on February 11th. Attendees will enjoy complimentary chips, guacamole, and salsa, along with a cash bar and live entertainment. When the word "tequila" starts echoing through the eatery, owner Rocco Mangel himself will take a spot at the top of the bar and start pouring complimentary tequila shots! And he'll have plenty to choose from, as Rocco's Tacos offers over 300 varieties of tequila.
Rocco's Tacos brings authentic Mexican and fun to Tampa with a vibrant atmosphere. "When we opened our West Palm Beach restaurant in 2007, we set out to change how our guests experienced Mexican cuisine, and we did,” said Mangel. “Ten years later we’re showcasing the evolution of the brand in Tampa. This location has been meticulously planned to represent Rocco’s 2.0 experience that can’t be found anywhere else including new menu items and experiences.”
In addition to lunch and dinner service, Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar has a late night menu that starts at midnight that features $3 on certain beer and wine, $5 specialty drinks and $5 nachos. The Tampa Mexican restaurant is 8,000 square feet and will have an outdoor patio and fire pit.
