For a tasty start to 2017, nothing beats a delicious finish to one year as you head into another! Make plans today to enjoy New Year’s Eve dinner at Pelagia Trattoria. They are crafting a delicious three-course prix fixe menu with a fabulous array of ways to dine.
We recently were treated to a small portion tasting of everything on the menu this New Year's Eve and it was in a word SPECTACULAR. Award winning Chef brett pulled out all the stops on this menu. I know where I will be having dinner this New Year's Eve! Below find the menu and photos of my experience tasting the menu.
Guests will create their preferred prix fixe menu by selecting from house-made starters, entrees and desserts listed below:
First Course (Choice of one)
- Lobster bisque accented with Cognac
- Jumbo lump crab cake with candied tomatoes
- Belgian salsify salad, gruyere, macadamia nuts, and haricots verts
- Grilled pear, watercress, maple bacon and walnut dressing
Second Course (Choice of one)
- Chateaubriand with Béarnaise whipped potatoes
- Butter-poached Maine lobster, Meyer lemon beurre blanc and celery root
- Colorado rack of lamb, blackberry-sage demi
- Seared sea bass, roasted vegetables, Romesco sauce
- Vegan pea protein, organic quinoa, Swiss chard
Third Course (Choice of one)
- Triple chocolate brownie mousse
- Torta Della Nonna
- Cardamom spice creme brûlée
- Chocolate strawberry truffle ganache
Reservations are available throughout the day until late into the evening at Pelagia. The restaurant is located on the lobby level of the Four Diamond-rated Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel. Cost is $70 per person for adults which excludes tax and gratuity and includes one complimentary glass of Prosecco.
