Pete's Place is a locally owned bar that has been around for quite some time...over 30 years! The bar is consistently bringing in customers not only because it is the #1 karaoke spot, but also because it is now home to the freshest seafood in Tampa; everything is caught by fishing boats right here in Tampa!
Pete's Place recently launched a new menu that leaves their old small menu to shame. They now have everything you would crave when sipping on those cheap drinks or relaxing on the recently added patio.
The menu consists of appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches, hamburgers, and of course seafood.
Normally bars only offer meat, but Pete's Place is vegetarian friendly with their Fried Veggie Platter option. It still has the greasy goodness of fried food, but without the meat. With the Veggie Platter, you have the option of picking one, two, or three from their veggie selection of fried mushrooms, fried zucchini, fried pickles, and fried jalapeno chips.
Are you a cheese fanatic? Their menu supports cheese lovers too! You can choose to pick one or two from their selection of cheesy foods including cheese sticks, jalapeno cheddar cheese poppers, and jalapeno cream cheese poppers.
The menu features a wide array of delicious items that are hard to resist. Like the Wha Gwan Corn Fritters, homemade corn meal batter with jalapeños and corn, fried to a golden crisp and served with Cajun Remoulade sauce. Other items include conch fritters, devil crab rolls, spicy butter shrimp, fried shrimp, and much more. We recommend trying the Rich' Boy Sandwich which has fresh fish and fried fresh shrimp on a hoagie.
Fresh deep water fish will hit the spot. Whether the fresh catch is Grouper, Red Snapper or other local gulf fish, you will certainly be pleased with the monster 1/2 lb sandwich cooked the way you like it. We recommend blackened or jerked and not the fried grouper as it takes away from the true fresh flavor. Also available to order as a dinner entree with two sides.
After reading about their menu, you must already be planning your visit to Pete's Place. If you want something extra special from their menu, come out on a Saturday for Southern Cookout Saturdays, or on a Sunday for Cluster Shucks Sundays. Saturdays offer smokin' comfort food including BBQ ribs, chicken, and more. Sundays offer a whole lot of oysters, and other seafood fresh off the boat as well. You can pick your style: Rockefeller, Garlic Parmesan, Jalapeno, or Cheddar.
Pete's Place is no longer just your home town bar with the best karaoke in Tampa, the cheapest drinks in town and the friendliest people around. Pete's is your go-to spot to please your craving for good southern food and fresh seafood.
