O'Brien's Irish Pub of Brandon is a great local spot if you're in the area. Whether it's pizza, wings, tacos, and burgers to great traditional Irish dishes so whether you have a hankering for some fish & chips or a hearty salad, they've got you covered.
The beer list is also terrific with all the standard English beers and ciders (and combinations of the two), but also features local craft drafts like Coppertail Brewing Co., Cigar City Brewing, Tampa Bay Brewing Company, and more!
But what makes O'Brien's special is the tons of community events, live music, and great weekly specials. Beer pong tournaments, karaoke, stand up comedy, and great local bands and DJs both indoors and outdoors. They have something almost every day for every type of person.
As a local Brandon girl myself, I have also been there for private and other special events that show up on the calendar sporadically like drink and paint nights, NFL/NBA draft bingo, Wrestlemania, etc. Just depends what's going on. We used to go all the time during the World Cup as they hold gatherings there for certain, timely sporting events. These show up on their social media as well as their regularly updated website calendar. Their Facebook has more details on what bands, DJs, and comedians are performing on any given night and can keep you updated if things change last minute.
