Located in New Tampa, J. Baja's Mexican Grill is a relatively new restaurant on the scene. J. Baja's is a family owned and operated restaurant and, as such, it shows in their impeccable service and commitment to quality. J. Baja's may sport traditional Mexican fare, but their menu items are made to order with only the freshest ingredients.
To start, patrons pick an item from bowls, burritos, tacos, salads, pizza, nachos, enchiladas and quesadillas. Then, a style is chosen from marinated meats (steak, chicken, pork and ground beef) to sauteed vegetables.
Next, add salsa and other additional toppings. Salsa flavors include: hot, mild, pico de gallo (medium) and the in-house specialty, J. Baja's Salsa (mild).
Finally, choose your sides. The side item of guacamole is a highlight as they not only make their guacamole from scratch with each order, but they do so with a mix of pico de gallo thrown in. J. Baja's is truly a gem in New Tampa.
