Fountain Square is one of the the newest addition to Davis Islands' modest assortment of dining and drinking destinations.
Situated at the former location of Bailey's restaurant on E. Davis Boulevard in Downtown Tampa, Fountain Square offers an eclectic mix of drinks from the bar, an expansive outdoor patio area, all the big sports games on TVs throughout the establishment, and a delicious menu of Florida-inspired eats for lunch and dinner.
Fountain Square boasts two outdoors bars serving six different beers on tap, wine by the glass and bottle, and signature drinks like Mojitos and more. The revamped dining room and indoor bar plays home to a a video game arcade as well as half a dozen TVs for entertainment at this corner hangout.
The menu at Fountain Square touts an assortment of casual eats ranging from oven baked flatbreads to burgers, Florida-inspired entrees and more. Highlights include a shrimp with a sweet pineapple aioli appetizer; an island chicken flatbread featuring house made pineapple aioli topped with grilled chicken, pineapple, green apples, blue cheese crumbles and caramelized onions; and classic shrimp and grits with cheese grits, gilled Tiger Shrimp, black forest ham, bacon, diced jalapenos, red onion and tomatoes.
Fountain Square is open from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. seven days a week. Happy Hour is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 p.m. to close every day with $2.75 domestic bottles, $2.50 domestic pints, $1 off import drafts, and 2-for-1 house wines.
