Tampa gourmet burger franchise, Burger 21 has just signed its first two franchise deals that will eventually yield three new Burger 21 locations in the Orlando area.
With these new Orlando franchise deals, Burger 21 is now scouting spots in the area including Lake Buena Vista, Dr. Phillips, and Winter Garden.
Founded by the owners of the Melting Pot, Burger 21 has already found immense success in the Tampa Bay area since their first location in Westchase opened back in November of 2010. The gourmet burger franchise expanded with a new Carrollwood location back in October and is already on track to open two other Tampa locations - New Tampa and Lakeland - by the end of the summer.
The New Tampa Burger 21, located at Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and Trout Creek Drive, will seat 113 customers in 2,600 square feet of interior space plus an outdoor patio. The Lakeland Burger 21 will be located at Harden Blvd. and Polk Parkway and seat 125 customers in 2,500 square feet of interior space with an outdoor patio.
This is all part of Burger 21's effort to expand its franchise all throughout the nation. While the focus is Florida for now, Burger 21 is considering franchise opportunities in ideal markets throughout the country.
If you're wondering if Burger 21's burgers warrant such rapid expansion like this, we can vouch, they definitely are. We visited them on our Taste Tour of 813 and left absolutely full and satisfied. Check out either of the Burger 21 locations - Westchase or Carrollwood - and see what everyone's talking about.
