Boca Kitchen Bar and Market is the newest player in the game when it comes to seasonal, fresh, and locally-sourced dining in the Tampa Bay area.

Opened by Gordon Davis, the brains behind both Ceviche and Ciro's in Tampa, Boca takes the "local" very seriously when they say local ingredients.  Their produce comes from Davis' own Lake Hiawatha Farm in Odessa, pork comes from a farm in Brooksville, chicken and eggs from an Ocoee farm, and other ingredients from local farms within close proximity to Tampa.

Boca utilizes each of these components in artfully-crafted dinner selections served hot and fresh in their quaint, Hyde Park location.  In addition, they also tout an assortment of beer and wines to accompany the wide variety of different flavors and textures at Boca.

Boca Kitchen Bar and Market offers a handful of permanent menu items as well as a host of rotating selections based on season and availability.

Meal starters at Boca include a number of small plate selections with highlights including Boca-dito's in varieties like Prosciutto and Teleggio fig jam, tomato and mozzarella, and smoked salmon; potato chips with carmelized onion coulis; and a rotating seasonal soup of the day.

Main courses include locally-sourced, fresh selections like lobster pot pie with lobster, shrimp, white fish, little neck clams, and Gran Marnier foam; braised short ribs with potato, pepper, bacon hash, and burrata-stuffed tomato gratin; and an oak-grilled ribeye flank steak with Cippolini onions, plum tomatoes, baby portabella with truffle, and parmasean pomm frittes.
