This pizzeria in the Shops at Wiregrass prides itself on using only the freshest ingredients to cook up the best pie possible, and the most authentic Neapolitan (Italian) style pizza in the Tampa Bay area.
Neapolitan style pizza is the kind of pizza you’d find actually served in Naples and other cities in Italy. And since it’s supposed to be the pizza in Italy, 900 Degrees makes its pizza using fresh ingredients from Italy. They make their dough using imported Antico Caputo® “00” Flour, and slather it in San Marzano DOP Tomatoes. These are the finest ingredients in the world and for this pizzeria, the only ones worthy of their final product! The Mozzarella is also imported, and the toppings are all prepared and cooked from scratch! All of the ingredients are tossed together to create individual 12-inch pizzas which are then cooked in a wood-fired oven using the same techniques used in Italy! (Are you getting hungry yet?)
Coming back state-side, 900 Degrees also excels in making Original New York Style Pizza as well! Prepared the same way as in the boroughs of NYC, they’re equally as picky with these ingredients as with the Neapolitan. They only use GM All Trumps® Flour for the crust, and they only the finest of Grande Cheese®. Their tomato sauce, on the other hand, is a secret recipe.
